Enrollment of new members has been going well thanks to the exciting program from Moose International's "The Time is Now" campaign which continues until April 30, 2011. If a member brings in 2 new enrollees before the end of the campaign his dues will be free for 2011.
Congratulations to our Special Olympics bowlers on Saturday, November 13, who traveled to Lava Lanes in Medford accompanied by our Lodge volunteers, Kathy Bishop, Ron and Ava Parker, Bob McLallen and myself, to compete in regional games.

We are entering a float in the Snowflake Parade on December 9th whose theme is "Christmas in Flight". We will need a lot of help as well as ideas to put this float together. MOOSE ON THE LOOSE
This time of year can be stressful and overwhelming at times and I need to remember that no matter what, the members of this lodge always come through. This is the time of year when we are reminded to be thankful and count our blessings and that was a big reminder for me on November 20th. We have the most talented cooks in the country and I want to thank everyone who cooked up a storm! No one went away hungry. Thank you to our favorite turkey carvers (Calvin, Jim and Bob) gravy makers, potato mashers, pot scrubbers, complusive cleaners (we all know who this is, hold on to your fork!). Everyone just pitched in. We had a lot of new faces and two new members signed up.
We have a family that needs our help for Christmas. The angel tree (wall) has items that this family could use. If you can help us out with any thing, please take a tag and bring the item in unwrapped with the tag attached. We will wrap the gifts on the night of the Tom and Jerry party. If you have any questions contact Patty Johnson.
Our Moose on the Loose Christmas party will be a little different this year! We will have a "HOME MADE" Gift exchange. It can be baked goods, painted rocks, gloves decorated with buttons, any thing you can think of! Ladies bring one for a lady and Guys bring one for a guy. We will play the stealing game and this is always crazy. We will have a Pinata and a Special Sheriff. Dinner will be a Baked Potato bar, so be ready for a good time.
Please keep our members and their loved ones who are facing medical problems in our prayers. Also those who have suffered a loss this year and facing the holiday season.
God Bless our soldiers and our veterans.
Sorry JOHN MUMFORD you lost $66.00 by not being at the LOOM Meeting in November- so Decembers POT will be for $80.00- REMEMBER "Ya Gotta Be There To Win"- see ya next time.
